Michael Caines opens Lympstone Manor Country House

The Lympstone Manor Country House Hotel in Exmouth, Devon has opened with 21 bedrooms.

Set in 28 acres of gardens, the luxury country house hotel is the brainchild of Michelin-starred chef Michael Caines and the renovation cost a reported £7.5M.

Scott Andrews is general manager, while Tom Hine is group executive chef.

Both appointees have a history of working with Caines who left Gidleigh Park, Chagford, Devon, where he was executive chef of the two-Michelin-starred kitchen for 21 years, in January.

The luxury property features a restaurant with three dining rooms and its own vineyard.
