Amadeus contract win at Compton Verney

Amadeus, the NEC Group’s catering business has won a £5m contract at Compton Verney, the gallery and events venue located in Warwickshire.

The five-year deal covers catering services for the venue’s restaurant, due to be relaunched soon, and for both corporate and private events.

Speaking about the win, Amadeus MD Kevin Watson said: “The Compton Verney contract is a fantastic addition to the growing portfolio of venues we cater for. With extensive experience of retail, conference and banqueting catering, servicing over 4m visitors per year across the NEC Group venues, Amadeus met the venue’s requirements for a first-class catering service.”

Amadeus reports that it has enjoyed strong growth over the past five years. In 2016, it won more tenders than at any other time in its 40-year history, securing new business totalling over £30m
